I need a room, the lady in her late 60’s said to the owner of old Age home.

Yes sure mam, but there is a problem, we have just one room left and that is on the top most floor of the building, the man replied.

The lady in a exhilarated tone replied. “ Oh that's great!. I will take it.

Confused with her expression, the man thought, how come a room at the top floor of the building is good for a lady who is in her late 60’s.

Since the lady was finding it difficult to walk, the man decided to escort her to the room.

On the way towards the room, the man compassionately said to the lady, “ I am sorry the room is towards the south most corner of the building and we have to walk all the way till there.

To that the lady replied, “ Oh !, the south most corner, i like it, there is no problem in walking.”

puzzled by her reply, the man thought, what is so good of the south most corner of the building which is not good about the north most corner.

As he opens the door of the room, he continues, I am sorry again, the room is just 4feet by 10 feet, i hope you will comfortable here.

The lady excitedly says, “ I love the room son. 4 X 10 is more than enough for me. Thank you so much for all your generosities.”

This time the man could not control his temptation to ask the lady,

“What is wrong with you mam, you said you had no problem with the room being at top most floor of building, then you said you like south most corner and now you are saying the room size is more than enough for you? Can’t you see there is unhappiness everywhere? “

To that she calmly replies;

“ Happiness is a choice that i make with myself.”

“I cant let the things going outside me, affect my happiness. So, it does not matter to me what happens outside , until and unless i have calmness and serenity inside , i am happy.’
