Happy Quarantining....!

In this current climate, many of us are worried about ourselves and loved ones due to the coronavirus.

While in the midst of the unknown, health officials are urging us all to do our part in “flattening the curve” — a term coined to help halt the spread of the virus.

Sports, schools, businesses and events have been postponed and canceled. We are being called upon to stay home and practice social distancing. In our busy lives, this is usually near impossible and feels foreign.

However, this is the time to hunker down and ride it out.

Once Socrates was staying with his disciples. At sudden burst his wife came and started cursing him like she use to do.

“My biggest mistake was to marry a guy like you… you’re so useless” She started yelling.

Socrates ignored her and with a smile he continued teaching but his wife’s temper hiked up for such ignorance.

She went off and returned with a bucket of mud from her nearby gutter and strruck it down on to head of Socrates.

“You deserve this…” Her face arose with triumph.

Socrates smiled and continued again but she left tossing her legs. His disciples got offended.

“Sir, how you keep up with such woman. Why don’t you teach her a lesson? If you don’t want to do that, then give us a chance… we’ll teach her how to respect others.” One of his disciple exclaimed.

“Keep calm… she’s my wife and I respect her. She never wishes wrong for me and her action is a test to check whether I’m still patient or not… She is my motivation behind calmness and self control” He smiled.

Now getting on to the topic, What’s the best life advice you can give?

Patience, positivity and self control is the key of living a happy life.

Argument can’t lead any discussion to agreement and what atmax we can do in such situation is to avoid them.

Positivity lies in the way we contemplate things around us.
