The Zodiac Killer

The Zodiac Killer was a serial killer who operated in the 1960s and 1970s around Northern California. Claiming 37 murders in his letters to newspapers, investigators dispute this number, stating that there were only 7 confirmed victims, of which two actually survived. Additionally, there is a third suspected to be an escaped victim of the Zodiac Killer.

He often sent letters to the police and to the newspapers, goading them into finding him, or informing them of a possible victim.

He once wrote:

I like killing people because it is so much fun it is more fun than killing wild game in the forrest because man is the most dangeroue anamal of all to kill something gives me the most thrilling experence it is even better than getting your rocks off with a girl the best part of it is thae when I die I will be reborn in paradice and thei have killed will become my slaves I will not give you my name because you will try to sloi down or atop my collectiog of slaves for my afterlife ebeorietemethhpiti"

Despite the many semantic and grammatical mistakes, it is easy to make out the message the Zodiac Killer is attempting to put across. We have no idea what the final 18 letters mean (if there is any meaning at all).
