These are actually true

  • A Chinese monk’s devotion left a mark on a temple.
After kneeling in prayer a 1000 times every day for the 20 years, the monk’s footprints are now etched upon the temple’s wooden flooring. That’s what I call devotion.
  • In 1850, 24 rabbits were released into the wild in Australia. Around 70 years later, the rabbit population grew to a massive 10 billion!
The rabbits reproduced at a rate of 18-30 per single rabbit female per year.
  • A sheep in China gave birth to a sheep dog.
It plays like a dog and looks like one too. The farmer who raised the sheep, Liu Naiying, said he had never seen anything like that in 20 years.
  • The last mammoths were alive while the Great Pyramids were being built.
They were living in an island called Wrangel Island which is now Russian territory.
  • Lighters were invented before matches.
Lighters were invented in 1823 while matches were invented in 1826 (and improved greatly in 1831).
  • Oxford University is older than the Aztec empire.
Oxford University was founded in 1096 and the Aztec Empire in 1325 making it 332 years older than the Aztec Empire.
  • Saudi Arabia imports camels from Australia.
I always thought that Saudi Arabia had too many camels!
