She is Malavika Iyer. She is a bilateral amputee, a bomb blast survivor, a social worker, and Ph.D. scholar. She is an international motivational speaker and a disability rights activist advocating for building an inclusive society. She is also a model for accessible fashion. She was a Junior Research Fellow at the Madras School of Social Work. Her doctoral thesis is on the stigmatization of people with disabilities.
