Irony at its best

These are Indian celebrities who earn in millions.
  • So called “king khan”.
  • Never aging salman khan
  • She is a bollywood star. Yeah right, “bollywood” which is in India.
  • Birthday girl.
And then there are Indian farmers because of whom we get to eat and live. Those are the real heroes and they should be earning millions.
But its not the case here, sadly, they have to protest for their demands, they have to walk 200kms for their rights and they have bleed their blood for their livelihoods.
Recently, thousands of farmers marched from Nasik to Mumbai for their demands.
  • Everyone walked the distance.
  • Hands that feed every mouth in the country.
  • No matter what, no excuses.
  • It must have hurted.
And the best part was, these Farmers walked at night so that Class 10 Board students won't be affected.
This is the biggest irony of India, the one's who have nothing to do with our lives earn in millions and the one's who feed us, have to struggle for their mere existence.
May be my comparison is totally irrelevant.
Actually I am not comparing filmstars with farmers. My whole point about writing this is, we must differentiate between luxury and necessity. Watching movie is a luxury without which we can live, but eating food is our necessity without which we will die.
The celebrities couldn't be at fault, but we all are. No doubt celebrities are doing their business, they will use all their skills to do so, but we should be wise enough to spend our money. If we can buy a movie ticket of Rs. 400, then we shouldn't bargain for Rs. 10 with the farmers while buying vegetables.
